Summer ruffle top down makes the perfect summer top or dress, which can easily be styled up or down for any occasion. Summer ruffle top down is worked top down, meaning the length is easily adjustable to your preferred length. The design works great in any length from crop top to floor length dress. Both the dress and top are slightly oversize and designed to have a relaxed fit.
The shoulders of Summer ruffle top down are shaped by increases, providing an understated shoulder detailing, that follows the natural slope of the shoulder without the need for short rows. The neckline of Summer ruffle top down is fitted and folded double for a beautiful finish with no raw edges.
After completing the yoke, which is first worked in stocking stitch back and forth and afterwards in the round, just go with the flow round after round. If you choose an ankle length dress - despite the high number of hours - it is worth every single stitch.
